Interview: Opiate Epidemic and PA State Senators

In April of this year (2017), I had a unique opportunity to participate in an interview with PA State Senator's Mario Scavello & David Argall at the State Capitol in Harrisburg, PA. We discussed the current opiate epidemic that is running rampant through the country and locally in PA. Statistics reveal over 3,500 overdose deaths in 2015 (PA), and estimates approaching 5,000 in 2016 (PA). PA Adult & Teen Challenge is providing a continuum of care for individuals struggling with substance use disorder. We currently offer three levels of care (detox, short-term residential, long-term-faith-based) that provide medical care, clinical care, and mentoring for individuals to experience over 11-months of care and opportunities to receive healing from their addictions!
